Years of Experience: 22 years from 2004 – Present

Education: BA & MA from Rowan University

Coach of the Bells Elementary School Chess Team

 

Awards and Honors

James Cho's chess team has received many local, state and national honors and awards throughout those 22 years. 

 

James has also been personally honored and recognized as

  • Bells Elementary School Teacher of the Year 2011

  • New Jersey State Social Studies Teacher of the Year 2020

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organizing and overseeing Bells Elementary Chess program for students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade.  

  • Programs size has ranged from 70 to 130 students per year.

  • Planned lessons to help students progress in chess as well and teaching beginners how to play chess.
