About Coach Adam Jones:

Adam Jones is currently the Head Basketball Coach and Director of Basketball Operations at Scholar Athletes Leadership Academy (SALA) in Pitman, NJ and has 10 years of basketball coaching experience. Adam grew up in a basketball and sports centered household and has had the opportunity to train with, play with, and learn from top basketball players who went on to play and coach in the NBA. Most notably, Adam’s father, Doc Rivers, Head Coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, played in the NBA for 14 years and has been a coach in the NBA for the past 19 years. As a player, Adam was an integral part of two back to back Florida High School State Championship winning teams and his prep school's national championship winning team.

He won both high school state championships at Winter Park (Fla.) High School, along side his brother, Austin Rivers, who currently plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Adam went on to prep to play basketball at St. Thomas More Prep in Connecticut with his best friend, Andre Drummond, who currently plays for the Chicago Bulls. After prep school, Adam played Division I basketball at Fairfield University and Division II basketball at Flagler College. Throughout his coaching career, Adam has had 24 young men receive college scholarships.

Adam founded Blueprint Basketball to help develop and inspire the next generation of basketball players. Growing up in a sports filled environment has had a great impact on Adam's work ethic. To Adam, the skills and knowledge developed through basketball not only teaches players discipline, but also teaches effective communication skills. Through the culmination of his experiences as a player and a coach, Adam hopes to share with the basketball pioneers at Blueprint Basketball Camp the very same zealous attitude he's had since the first day he held a ball.
